Welcome to the The AWA International Choir!

The choir is based in Singapore and runs autonomously but under the umbrella of the American Women's Association.

We are truly international with10 different nations from both hemispheres making music together.

The emphasis is on fun and friendship with the common bond of the love of Singing.

The all-volunteer choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 9:45 – 12:00 at
St. Bernadette Catholic Church near Great World City and sectional
rehearsals are scheduled as needed.

These weekly practices culminate in a series of charitable performances at various venues in the local community as well as a special concert at the American
Club for friends and family.

The music and weekly practices bring the choir members together
in friendship and song, and outside of rehearsals, some lovely meals
are shared where lasting friendships are forged.

About the AWA

Founded in 1935, the American Women’s Association (AWA) of Singapore is a vibrant and active women’s group for all nationalities. The AWA provide a wide variety of activities and events for approximately 1200 members, and join with the wider Singapore community through their volunteer programs.
